Sectoral Performance
Media and Entertainment has seen the worst quarter from March to June 2009. Strike between producers and multiplex owners leading to no new movies being released. To add to the problems the second season of Indian Premier League (IPL) and the General Elections 2009.
Short term Concerns
Future for short term is also gloomy where Swine Flu would start effecting. Movies and specially malls and multiplexes may not get the right viewership so the stock would move down.
Stock History
Adlabs, one of the fastest growing Media and Entertainment Company owned by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, has seen too much down currently. The stock is not in the news for any good or bad reason and so this might be the right time to consider it.
Final thoughts on Adlabs Films
This would be the right time to start accumulating stock with a long term Horizon. I have started on the process and as you may know from my ebook I prefer making very small investments and watch the price movement before making further investments.
