Bullish on infra, FMCG

by Shabbir Bhimani on May 16, 2008

I am focusing more on infrastructure, consumer goods, and to an extent on financial services. There were lot of economic changes happened in last few months the prices of oil have left an impact on the changes happened in the rupee. Inflation is for temporary period and it may remain for six more months. While investing one should focus and select stocks and shares from long term perspective.

We have to check where and how oil goes, if this condition remains static growth will decrease and prices will increase, there may be higher inflation and that may affect in various economies and financial assets of market. In India there has be growth in infrastructural activities and they are also going to work in long term and as India is a country of billions people so wealth going expand and increase in the need of consumer goods and also automatically increase in financial services which is the back bone of every sector.

One can also focus on factors like pharmacy etc.Markets are going to be range bound and this is totally going to depend upon the happenings of global and local events. In my earlier posts I mentioned stocks from these sectors – here and I am very bullish on them.
