Dividend History of Mutual Funds

by Shabbir Bhimani on August 10, 2009

I get lots of emails where people ask me

Is there any site which provides complete dividend history of any mutual fund?

Specially for Tax saving funds after reading Full tax saving without investing one lac.

The answer is YES.

Refer to Mutual Funds of India where they have dividend history of each Mutual Fund Dividend with Date and rate for you to see.

Here are some of the Best Funds Dividend for you to look at.

Fund Name Last Dividend Date Dividend Rate
Birla Mid Cap 31 Jul 2009 1.5
DSPBR LYNCH T.I.G.E.R Fund 19 Jun 2009 2
DSPBR Top 100 Equity 24 Jul 2009 2
HDFC Equity 19 Mar 2009 3
HDFC Growth 26 Feb 2009 2
HDFC Top 200 Fund 5 Mar 2009 3
ICICI Prudential Dynamic 13 Feb 2009 1
IDFC Imperial Equity Fund 08 Jun 2009 1
IDFC Premier Equity Fund 28 Apr 2009 2
Tata Pure Equity 17 Apr 2009 2
TATA Infrastructure Fund 11 Mar 2008 1
SBI Magnum Sector Funds Umbrella Contra 17 Jul 2009 5
Sundaram BNP Paribas Select Midcap 24 April 2009 1

One of the most interesting thing to look into that list is TATA Infrastructure Fund which has not given dividend for more than one year now and so something should be coming soon and you can consider that for some long term investment as well.

Hi Shabbir,
You posts are very informative. This is the first time, i have want to invest in MF and was not aware about the details of MF. going thorough you articles, i got some good information. But still in the current period December 2010, i am not sure, which MF to buy as my tax saving option. I have around 15-20k to invest this year in it. Can you suggest any MF in current times and whether i should go for Divident or Growth fund.

Thanks in advance!!
