Top 5 Funds for a diversified portfolio

Diversifying your portfolio is always one the thing people tend to miss but its one of the most important thing when you would like to be making good bucks in the stock world.

ICICI Prudential Services Industries – Good service industry fund
ICICI Prudential Infrastructure – Fund that invests in the infrastructure stocks.
Birla Mid Cap – A mid cap fund to provide you diversification in the portfolio. I would prefer Birla Mid cap over Sundaram Midcap because of it recent performance.
Reliance Vision – One of the best fund which is a must in any long term / short term portfolio.
Reliance Banking / DSPML Technology.com – If you are bullish in banking sector you should be going with Reliance Banking but technology has been under performer and so DSPML Technology.com is a good fund to target technology section.

    Hi,
I am planning to invest 30k on Reliance Infrastructure and tempelton. Would you suggest me go ahead or any other better option than this?

    • Manav, I will suggest you go for one Midcap fund as well because with the current market condition mid cap will be far better performer. Also I will prefer SIP in this market condition
