What are some of the investing lessons one can learn from the crash in the market of January 2008? Can one be better at trading learning something new from the crash?
When I talk with many people and tell them that its time to invest in Nifty / Sensex listed companies they have fairly little idea about which companies are listed and so thought I would list them here for reference.
Many stocks in Indian market are traded in NSE (National Stock Exchange) as well as BSE (Bombat Stock Exchange) and also you have the option of buying stock in one exchange and sell it in the other one.
Nifty is an index or an indicator of the performance of the top 50 companies listed in national stock exchange. Nifty is a joint holding of NSE and IISL.
People asked me to have the list of companies in Sensex and so I thought of referring them to Official website or even at Wiki but could not find the list in a very comprehensive manner and so thought would add them here.
